Managing Director and registered Manager for Nursing & Dom Care. Lead Trainer (QCF and Complex).
Responsibilities: I am a qualified general nurse and have worked within the health care industry for 20 years. I started my career as a young nurse working with the oncology team at Southend hospital and found this extremely rewarding, challenging and very educational. I was lucky enough to be a part of the old school nursing that included a hospital based schools, hats and arm bands and (dare I say) proper matrons that knew everything! I went on to work within most departments in the hospital then spent 13 years walking the wards over at Basildon hospital (my old home from home!), this included A/E, Paeds, most medical and surgical wards, mental health and sometimes taking charge of wards too. I have managed nursing agencies for 17 years and have gained a great deal of experience with supporting large care teams who give great care in the community. I hold various nursing and clinical qualifications as well as three teaching qualifications and enjoy teaching in-house staff as well as other candidates using QCF and non QCF subjects.
I am also an NLP master practitioner, hypnotherapist. time line therapist and certified NLP coach. This helps me communicate better with others and also to support my brilliant team of staff.
I am known for the infamous "Wills Grill" and the odd fish and chip sandwich!!
Hobbies: Snow skiing, Water skiing, mono boarding, Knee boarding, wake boarding, jet skiing, boating, golf, Badminton. Not that I get any time to do the above!!
Responsibilities: I am responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and retention for care staff and have many, many years experience in this field.
